September 9, 2026 Traders, does this resonate? Built an app that physically blocks you from overtrading

Traders blow accounts not because they don't know their rules — but because they ignore them in the heat of the moment. I built PipLock AI to remove willpower from the equation. I'm building PipLock AI, an Android app for traders who want to stick to their risk rules without relying on willpower alone. It works via accessibility service: it monitors your broker (MT5/MT4) in real time and automatically blocks your access when you breach your own limits - daily loss, max trades, trading hours - locking you out with a fullscreen overlay until the daily reset.

Looking for Android traders willing to test the beta (free, no payment required).

▎ Bug reports, feedback and feature suggestions are very welcome - the app is in active development.

The pain is clear, but the key validation is behavioral. Have beta traders actually reduced rule-breaking or drawdowns after using PipLock, rather than simply agreeing that the idea sounds useful?

Thats why I'm trying to find testers to see if the idea is valid. There are no apps that physically prevent traders from committing more trades after they reached their max daily loss. Also the best traders can fall into this trap, and ignore their rules just because they want their money back. I was a trader too, and thats why I know what that means

That’s a clear validation gap. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.

About

I'm a trader myself. I've blown rules more times than I'd like to admit — not because I didn't know them, but because in the moment, discipline breaks down. I built PipLock AI to solve my own problem first.
