Ideas/Trends Tracking on Reddit
After tidying up the landing page and table outputs for the API search, I decided release (prematurely?) to the Indie Hackers community, to gather feedback.
Support was fantastic. The feedback both consolidated the importance of the areas that were next on the checklist, and also highlighted points I'd not considered.
My intention was to release at the start of February; however, progress was mired by complications in cross-origin communication between the backend and frontend - this was holding up development by an unacceptable amount.
After taking time off to support family through some personal issues, I gutted the application, and resorted to a simple React.js app hosted on Netlify, with Firebase covering Auth and DB.
The (truly) barebones MVP was completed 2 (long) days later.

New year, new venture! After finding that a lot of friends and colleagues regularly tapped into Reddit to source new ideas and points of view, I decided to build a tool to track ideas and trends as they appear. The weapons of choice for the task were Next.js hosted on Netlify and FastAPI hosted on Heroku.
