Online Pixel Art Learning Platform

April 9, 2026 I finally launched a successful product

I've been trying to make things for years. My first website Lospec -- a pixel art gallery and palettes database -- became pretty popular, but it was designed to be free. I hoped that people would appreciate it enough to support it via patreon, but that was stupid.

I finally created an actual product, a course that teaches pixel art to beginners, and it surprisingly is getting some sales. Not a life-changing amount, but enough for me to feel like I can keep working on it. I think it's a good product, and am very happy with the website.

I'm going to keep upgrading the website and publishing content on it as long the sales continue. Though I know one day I'll probably have to start something new. This product can only grow so far. Unfortunately all my ideas are things I would want, and I only like weird niche things so they aren't very profitable.

About

Many people have trouble getting started learning pixel art because they don't know where to start. I created a structured self guided course that teaches the right skills in the right order.
