PixReveal
Free Jackbox style browsergame about guessing Pixel art
The most popular way to play PixReveal is my recently added Local Party Multiplayer. Therefore I implemented a lot of improvements to it.
What you get:
Host on the big screen and play via your phone
Powerups to sabotage your friends
Emote reactions
Player titles awarded based on your play
Robot moderator commenting on the game
PixReveal is now placed as a free Jackbox alternative with additional singleplayer modes. A free browsergame with no login required that can be played locally (or via screen sharing) with a group.
Have you seen these posts about pixel art being revealed in a super satisfying way? I decided to take this and turn it into a gameplay mechanic. The result is PixReveal. The gameplay is highly intuitive: you have four answer options and more and more pixels plop up. The faster you answer, the more points you get.
To mix things up, the game has 5 different game modes:
Classic: pixels plop up one after another
Gravity: pixels dropping in Tetris style
Inspect: you can only see the drawing partially through your lens
Buzzer: answer options are hidden until you press the buzzer
Survival: timer keeps ticking down, answer correctly to gain more time, how many drawings can you solve?
On top: PixReveal provides an online multiplayer to play with your friends. Who has the best pixel recognition and earns the most points?
PixReveal can be played right now for free on PixReveal.com
