Recipe manager where you pick each recipe's view: traditional, notecard, Cooking for Engineers flowchart, Rails, or cook mode
by sidequestdevPlatefolio is a recipe manager built around one idea: the layout of a recipe should be a choice, not the app's decision. The same recipe renders five ways and you pick per recipe:
- Traditional: a clean cookbook-style page
- Notecard: a 4x6 index card, print-friendly
- Flowchart: a Cooking for Engineers style table, ingredients enter on the left and merge rightward into steps
- Rails: a vertical, mobile-friendly take on the flowchart
- Cook mode: one step at a time, with checkable ingredients and steps

Under the hood, import is fully deterministic (no LLM): URL import walks schema.org JSON-LD, then microdata, then microformats, then a readability fallback. And no ads, ever, the plan is a cheap yearly subscription.
Just opened it up for beta. Looking for honest feedback, especially where the import parser falls over on recipes you actually cook.
