We recently expanded Plausity with Background Check & Integrity DD, designed to help M&A teams identify integrity risks that often sit outside the data room.
The solution follows a four-stage process:
Pre-Screening → Know Your Investment → Background Check → Integrity DD
It combines AI-powered analysis with more than 100 screening sources, including sanctions lists, PEP registries and media research. For deeper investigations, desk research can also be combined with HUMINT enquiries through in-country sources.
The goal is simple: help private equity, M&A advisory and corporate development teams identify potential deal-breakers earlier and make better-informed decisions without relying on fragmented manual processes.
Plausity now supports 12 due diligence workstreams — including commercial, financial, tax, tech, ESG and integrity — within one workspace and is available in seven languages.

The expansion into integrity due diligence is notable. It adds a very different kind of risk assessment to an already broad M&A workflow.
