Building Plazmapunk: AI music videos from your song
I started Plazmapunk as a side project. Most AI video tools make a clip from a text prompt. I wanted something built around an actual song: timing, mood, and a finished video you can post.
You upload a track, describe the look, and generate a video. There’s a free tier to try it. Paid plans add more credits and tools if you need them.
Quick Video for a fast result, Scene Editor for more control, or a Spotify Canvas loop. Check it out and give it a try!
About
I started Plazmapunk as a side project for musicians who need videos that fit their song, not random AI clips. With colleagues, we turned it into a real product they can actually post.

Hey Alex! I came across Plazmapunk on Indie Hackers and really liked the product direction. Focusing on generating videos from the song itself instead of treating music as an afterthought feels like a much more creator-centric approach.
I'm also an indie founder and recently launched PulseBoard, so I know the journey of taking a side project and turning it into something real with actual users.
Congrats on the launch, and I hope it keeps gaining traction! I'm curious—what has surprised you the most since people started using it?
