Build a Revenue Generating Podcast for Your Business.
Hey, Indiehackers!
After working on this for one month, I was finally able to launch my podcast music library: https://music.podcastbuffs.com/
The idea came when I was helping some clients launch their podcasts, and finding good, free music for their podcast intros became a hassle.
The music available is either too long or not podcast-specific, and the obvious licensing issues. To solve this problem, I came up with this free podcast music library.
The music in this library is exclusive; you cannot find these tracks elsewhere, and it is created specifically for podcast intros.
With an optimal length of 30-60 seconds, these tracks works perfectly beneath your intro voiceover.
With this library, you don't have to worry about licensing, as the licenses will always be free, commercial and non-commercial use is allowed, and there are no copyright/royalty problems.
If you're starting a podcast or looking for a fresh intro to your existing one, just listen to the 20 tracks I have on the website. 20 is just the starting point, I'm going to add 10 new tracks every month.
If you like any track, just download it and use it in your podcast.
We've just created a small tool, a Podcast Name Generator. I've built it by going through the top 5000 podcasts on Apple Podcasts, deducing the naming patterns to 40 best-performing ones, and created this tool.
I'd love it if you can test out the tool by visiting: https://podcastbuffs.com/podcast-name-generator/
Enter one keyword that's related to your business and send a screenshot of the results (if possible) you've got.
Your screenshots will help me improve the tool and make it better.
Also, please let me know what you think about the name suggests the tool gives you.

This is really interesting! Did you use any ML Algorithm in it ?

Hi @kanishk2022, as much as I want to make it sound so technical and complicated, it's not.
The tool doesn't use any ML or AI. I and my team had gone through the top 5000 podcasts in Apple podcasts in different categories, recognized the naming patterns, and found the ones that we thought are good.
Because these 5000 podcasts are already on top, we concluded that those naming patterns have some value.
We then created this tool to use synonyms of the keyword that a user enters (we get these synonyms from Oxford Dictionaries) and compile a list of podcast names (using the 40 naming patterns + synonyms).
That gives you the result you see the tool giving out. A lot of manual work went into it.
Also, out of curiosity, did you use the tool? if yes, what keyword did you enter?
Thank you for showing your interest.

WOW! Thats a lot of hardwork and i really appreciate all the efforts you and the team put in! But i do feel that in a couple years, with changing trends, the top 5000 podcast naming conventions are going to change completely. Will your system be able to adapt to it ? (This is just me geeking out on a great piece of tech!)
Also! I did use the tool and the name i entered was "tech" and i got many good suggestions! i liked "the side project" the most !

Absolutely, I do agree and believe that in a couple of years, the trends will change, and YES, we keep the tool updated with the changing trends.
We plan on updating the tool every 6 months to keep up with the changes. :)
