Pohtia

I've been doing some guerilla sharing of pohtia with small communities, which has lead to my first organic user 🎉

I've already received some great feedback and feature ideas which is working wonders for my motivation.

Here's to keeping the ball rolling!

Just rolled out the first pass at the design overhaul and I'm feel good about the latest changes!

There's still plenty of work to do but I feel the site is in a good enough state that if it were shown to a person with the same needs I have they'd (hopefully) be interested in signing up.

Now to find some folks that may be interested...

Unfortunately most of my holiday time off went into being ill. However, I finally managed to pull through and spend some time updating landing page!

I also took the plunge and decided to give Midjourney AI image generation a try and it's AMAZING!

I can't remember the last time I was this taken back by a new technology. It's truly like magic!

It came in very handy, breathing in new life to the Pohtia homepage with its incredible illustrations.

MVP:
This is the phase Pohtia is currently in. It works for note taking, note studying, supports code snippers, syntax highlighting, image hosting, and LaTeX notation.

The goal here is to get the product out into the world, for free, to see what the user experience is.

Phase 1 (Paid plan):
If the MVP performs well, the monetization strategy will be to have a question/note limit. If users want to add more questions/notes they will be prompted for a one time payment - I'm thinking somewhere in the $15 - $20 range. This will give them lifetime access to the platform.

This phase will also, ideally, have the rollout of a mobile app to support the web product as well.

Stretch Goals:
If phase 1 goes well, with enough momentum, adding a possible subscription tier to the payment plan may be an option.

The re-occurring fee would be very low but allow users to some AI tools and the shared database of questions and topics.

The site is up and running!
Currently not taking payment for Pohtia, instead putting some time aside to see if I can A) collect a small user base and B) collect metrics on how those users are interacting with the site.

Before attempting to rollout a payment I want to make sure the engagement is there.
