My "side" project Poirot is finally up & live. It is way over the MVP state as I wanted to include all the features right from the beginning. Essentially it is an email finder tool focused on sales & marketing, HR, and Recruiting teams/individuals. The Poirot App uses a bit different approach to email finding than traditional tools which allows it to sometimes find both domain emails and relevant emails (using a different domain) to a particular company.

Two types of searches are available.

• Email Finder - Contact name and company required to find the target email address. A company can be either in form of URL or company description (name and location or name and business description).

• Domain Search - Company in the above-mentioned forms. This task takes up to a minute to execute and will return all publicly available email addresses of that company as well as possible contacts in connection to that company. Only verified email addresses are charged from credit.

Great options for teams requiring such a tool are also integrated right from the beginning. You can have an infinite number of teams with an infinite number of users, and as a team owner, you can control team credits usage and limits as required. It's easy to change workspaces and jump from private to team accounts.
Referrals are also available to all users from the beginning. There is a forever Free plan (no card required) that gives you 20 lookup searches and 100 verifications per month, while each new signup brings 25 permanent credits to both referrer and referee.

It took a lot of time to finish the product as I'm the sole developer and was required to architect, design, develop, ...you name it. On the technical side of things, the system uses multiple backend services running mostly on the Swift Vapor framework and the front-end is React based. A few services are express.js based as Swift on Linux still misses a few small things. The database is PostgreSQL and Redis is also used for queueing and minor in-memory stuff.

I haven't made announcement posts to PH, HN and similar sites as I still want to make sure everything is working as intended and to correct a few little things.
As the title says, although it took a lot of time to build it, for me it was probably the easy part because that's what I simply enjoy doing, but we'll see how the marketing and selling side of things will be handled.
