Polderworks

We are some time underway now, proudly hosting for a small number of customers. Our current customers have a need for privacy and security and we are going to shift our focus more towards this. That is why we are also working on a privacy friendly domain name registration service that allows you to hide your personal or business details from the registration. We are still working on improving our hosting offering to be even more secure.

This week we had our first e-mail contacts signed up, yeah! :)

After about 6 weeks after starting Polderworks we are now working hard to get the first services in production. Work on this is progressing steadily. However after this marketing will become more important; something that is less my cup of tea. Still a lot to learn.

After experimenting for weeks to get a good working example of some applications that we want to host, we got it right.

Of course when we started I was confident that we could do this. I have many years experience in this field. Yet when you see that the plan comes together it gives both a good feeling and a sense of relief. It also gives your confidense a boost because you know you're on the right track.

So next stop is to move this into production...

As a cloud architect I have built infrastructures on a lot of different platforms, but I have always been a bit disappointed about the hosting companies I relied on for my own personal projects. So now I'm starting Polderworks. Managed hosting as it should be; cloud based, fully loaded with everything you need and clear specifications.
