Should I go outside today? A clear answer for allergy days
My name is Peter. I became a first-time dad at 34.
My older son is 6 — the kind of kid who’d live outside if you let him. Riding his bike, chasing bugs, digging in the dirt.
But he’s severely allergic to pollen.
Every spring and fall, the same thing happens. We go to the park, and within minutes he’s sneezing nonstop, his nose is running, and he’s scratching because everything itches.
I watch him go from excited to miserable in the time it takes to walk from the car to the playground.
My younger son has allergies too. So outdoor time always feels like a gamble.

Each on a different site. Each giving me raw numbers.
None of them gave me a real answer.
I didn’t need more data.
I needed a simple decision.
