I recently launched PortChecker.app
— a free, browser-based tool that helps you instantly check open ports on your server or device.
Why I built it:
Most port checking and network diagnostic tools are either hidden behind downloads, bloated software, or clunky interfaces. I wanted something that:
Runs directly in the browser, no setup required ⚡
Quickly checks TCP and UDP ports for accessibility
Helps verify firewall rules and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Is simple enough for beginners, but accurate enough for sysadmins and developers
Who it’s for:
