POS SYSTEM
A point of sale system for the culinary industry
Google and Stackoverflow ! thank you !
- i learned how JDBC works, but there's still lots to learn.
- User can see the menu's items list , create his own menu , set prices , categories, sub categories.
- dynamically building the UI for the Menu using the data from the database
When working as a waiter in restaurants over the past 4 years i had to use many POS-systems and over these years i started to see the flaws in design and missing features that could make my job much much easier, i am using JAVAFX since i only know JAVA and MYSQL and some HTML,CSS but that's for websites.

I own a small coffee shop in the city, and we just recently installed the POS system. Nowadays, what became famous is the mobile card terminal. People began to be fond of this method. However, before installing all these systems, I read some information https://compucash.ae/best-credit-card-machine/. From there, I understood what type of POS should I'd better choose for my coffee shop. Plus, I learned much more information that I didn't even know existed. It was beneficial for me as a business owner.

as a restaurant employee and self-taught programmer, i used many POS systems and can see their flaws and what's missing in them, this is my own version of a POS system.
