The search functionality was one of the most requested features during the beta phase. It’s taken us a few months to build and test it and it’s now finally available for download 🎉.

A directory would be useless if your visitors can’t find what they’re looking for. This is why the search forms extension allows you to search for pretty much anything and any detail that is part of your listings. It’s truly incredible!

With plenty of UI elements to choose from, I'm sure that building a listings directory with WordPress has just become much easier!

Today I'm extremely exicted to announce that I've launched the first premium extension for Posterno, my listings directory WordPress plugin.

With the WooCommerce Paid Listings addon, directory owners can charge their members for submitting listings on their websites. I've also included support for the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin that allows the creation of recurring packages.

This is the first step towards monetization of Posterno but there's still a lot to do.

This project is a fully-functional listings directory powered by WordPress and of course the Posterno plugin. The live demo will also be used a playground for all future paid add-ons demos.

The first paid add-on, WooCommerce paid listings, has also been installed on the demo.

The interesting thing about creating a live demo of your own project is that you'll end up noticing bugs that you probably might have missed during any previous test. Like I did!

After one year of development and several months of public beta testing, the first stable release of the Posterno WordPress plugin, was finally released.

When I first started working on Posterno, I did not expect it to take this long to reach a "v1.0". Throughout this time I've learned that I should just "ship it" instead of perfecting every tiny detail. Anyhow I'm glad of what I've built.
