I'm Anirudha, a solo developer from Assam, India. I hold an MCA, and I've been building PostTruncate (posttruncate.com) on the side.
The problem I kept hitting:
I'd write a LinkedIn post, hit publish, and watch it get cut off mid-sentence.
The "…see more" would appear right at the worst possible moment. Same thing on Instagram captions, TikTok, Threads — every platform has different fold lines and character rules.
I couldn't find a tool that showed me exactly where the cut happens visually, in real time. So I built one.

I think you've solved a more expensive problem than character limits. The real cost isn't that a post gets truncated—it's that the hook loses its job. Once the "...see more" lands in the wrong place, the rest of the post often never gets read. If PostTruncate becomes the tool people trust to protect that first impression across platforms, that's a much bigger position than being a character counter.
