The basic idea is quite simple, so creating an MVP was fairly quick.

I just needed a way to create an API endpoint, and then to be able to save and read the data from it programmatically. And lastly to be able to view the submitted data on the browser. The MVP took me about 2 days.

I was always frustrated when building a website, and I needed to add a contact form or subscription list etc., but had no backend API or database to save the data to.

This frustration led me to create Posty. With one click you can spin up an API to do exactly this.
