SEO Journey: An Ongoing Process with Encouraging Progress

I'm told that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a mission-critical task for any website aiming to increase its online visibility. Today, I'd like to share our progress in this arena with prayetic.com.

The Refreshed Prayetic Landing Page

Our journey began with the creation of a new, improved landing page. We designed it with an engaging interface that not only captures the essence of our brand but also makes it user-friendly for both our regular visitors and newcomers.

More than Just a Landing Page

We understand that maintaining a dynamic web presence is key. Hence, we modified the React page to include a blog section and an eBook signup feature. Our blog is now updated three times a week, with each post anchored by a Midjourney image. This new approach to our content strategy brings aesthetic appeal, conveys our brand message, and offers valuable insights to our audience.

An Overview of Our Metrics

Since our new SEO strategies took effect, our total clicks have reached 55, with over 280 impressions. These figures have resulted in an average CTR (click-through rate) of 19.5% - a solid start and a promising sign for our digital journey.

Moreover, our content now ranks at an average position of 11.2, which means prayetic.com is showing up on the first page of Google's search results for some keywords. That's quite an achievement given the short time since our initiatives were implemented.

Ranking Keywords

Since our launch on June 15, we're now starting to rank for the following keywords:

  1. Morning meditation prayer
  2. Guided morning prayer
  3. Meditation for energy and productivity
  4. Divine inspirations and prayers app
  5. Free divine inspirations and prayers
  6. Guided prayer meditation
  7. Morning meditation for productivity
  8. Meditation for productivity
  9. Divine hours of prayer
  10. Powerful morning meditation
  11. Divine hours
  12. Daily prayer and meditation

These keyword rankings are a testament to our successful optimization strategies and consistent effort to create valuable content.

What’s Next?

As we continue on our SEO journey, we plan to focus on optimizing these keywords further, with the aim of reaching the top 3 positions in SERPs. We're also looking to expand our keyword portfolio, reaching out to more potential areas where our audience might be searching.

In addition, we'll be monitoring our metrics closely and constantly refining our SEO strategy based on what the data tells us. We'll be testing different types of content, backlinks strategies, and onsite optimization techniques, all with the goal of increasing our visibility, clicks, and ultimately, conversions.

We’re excited about the progress we’ve made, but we’re even more excited about what’s to come. So, stay tuned for more updates on our SEO journey at Prayetic!

Hey awesome job with the landing page Donnel! How long it took for your SEO initiatives to take effect?

    1. 1

@THveloso, I'm still learning how to track and measure everything. I'd say about 47 days from the start of the blog to today before I started to see some results. Actually in the last 10 days I started to see more search results in Google Search Console.

This tweet has some helpful resources for measuring metrics:

I started blogging on May 30, with 3 posts in May; 6 posts in June; and 20 posts so far in July.

I think having this regular content has helped me with my SEO.

When I run site:prayetic.com in Google, there are 17 of 29 of my blog posts so far in the Google index.

Hi Donnell, very interesting read! Wishing you all the best with developing prayetic further.

Would you mind sharing some of the tools you're using for analytics, keyword metrics and search engine ranking? I'm just starting out myself and I'm curious to see what people are using.

    Cheers, Nisda!

I'm using Google tools: Search Console, Analytics, and Ads.

Then I use Ahrefs.com (free account) to check domain ranking, organic keywords, and backlinks.

Daily I check my backlinks and I manually search for my keyword, "morning meditation" and "morning meditations" and see what's ranking and use those ranking sites to help seed content creation for my blog posts: https://blog.prayetic.com
