Presbot

Released a new feature to create your professional chatbot with just one click, using linkedin-oauth2. This should make the process of creating a chatbot frictionless and less time consuming. This was also the most requested feature from all the users of the application. Cheers!

I just released some really cool features on Presbot.com based on feedback that I've received from early adopters. These include:

Chat Transcripts: You can now view transcripts for all the questions asked to your bot. These are broken down into handled vs unhandled (i.e. provided with a default response or wiki search results)

Chart for Daily Views and Questions: As soon as you login you'll be greeted with a new chart that shows your daily views count and # questions asked.

Released the following exciting enhancements this week:

• Users are redirected to a personal dashboard on login. I decided to repurpose the messages view to not alter the navigation. I added popularity metrics and recommended connections on top of messages
• If the bot doesn't understand a question or has not been trained on it. It searches wikipedia and returns a list of links to top articles that match the search.

I've added the ability to flag one or more basic training questions from appearing on public Presbot profile. This should allow users to hide questions in the quick-chat feature on their Presbot profiles.

I am really excited to announce some new and exciting features on Presbot. The latest version of Presbot includes two of the top requested community features: Likes and Connections

You will now be able to like and connect with other Presbots on the Community page (https://presbot.com/community/) as well as on the individual public profile pages. You will also be able to see other's connections and connect with them.

In addition, I've added minor UI enhancements to the community and profile pages, and fixed layout on some mobile screen sizes.

I hacked together a barebones MVP and added it to a bunch of websites that promote startups and side-projects in hopes of finding some initial users to beta test and gather feedback. I ended up creating a few model (fake) accounts, but actually got a few signups. Then a few days later, my betalist entry went live (https://betalist.com/startups/presbot) (I had no recollection of submitting it there..lol) and I ended up getting ~30 new users (great!). I immediately started noticing bugs and fixed them in a hurry. Then I realized, what's a community without social features (likes, connections etc).. and if my self-identified GitHub issues list wasn't long enough, I decided to to work on making Presbot social (at least the basics).

I wondered what an interactive version of Linkedin would look like, how about something that works for you when you're doing what you love to do. ML to the rescue?

hm, chatbots? cool!
