Soundwaves that speak

July 20, 2023 So, how to start writing if you've already been working for 2 years

I've been working on Printawave for over 2 years now. And it's hard to even start writing, because there is so much. So many things to share. Some chronologically important messages, some semi-random thoughts.

I think one of the most important books I've read since working on Printawave is called $100M Offers by Alex Hormozi. The buff Gym/Bodybuilder dude who went from broke to centimillionaire. He's got a way writing and transfering knowledge that speaks very much to me and my past experience (I was flatout broke with my back to the wall too at some point in the entrepreneurial journey).

The key message of his book for me was: Know who you sell to. If you know who you sell to, you'll have a better tailored offer, since you know what language these people speak, what their likes, dislikes and pains are.

That is something REALLY hard for Printawave. After about 30 product iterations at Printawave, I can safely say, it's not that simple. Why? Because music is very personal.

But experiences and emotions aren't personal. It may look (well, feel actually) like a personal experience, but it's really not.
(See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotion_classification)

So now that we've established that emotions are tangible. What about music?

Music has genres, and can be classified in a number of different ways. There are playlists on Spotify for literally every emotion or situation (Hello "Coffee Club", "Discover Weekly" and "All Out 90ies"!).

In future posts I hope to unvail a bit more on things we've been trying, discovered and the challenges we faced building Printawave. :)

Let me know if you liked this.
