I run a small 3D printing service and spent two years managing orders in Excel. Last month I finally built my own tool — PrintTrack — because nothing existed specifically for makers.

First week live. Here's what I've learned so far:

• Product Hunt heavily favors existing audiences

• Direct outreach works better than any platform
