Via Twitter and a bit of IH I've hit double digit (12 to be precise). Funny how small things can feel big when you're hacking away at something.

Two biggest lessons so far:

• Cross post more. It's more effective at getting the word out while I grow my Twitter audience
• Build systems

It started on December 21st, 2022. By day I'm a CTO and head of product for a startup in the cybersecurity space. And I had to put my other side project on hold last year, but I've had the itch to have something of my own on the side.

I thought about a few ideas, micro-saas, etc. But nothing really came to mind. And that's when it hit me. Why does it have to be a SaaS? Why can't I instead write about SaaS.

Since I still wanted to code, I created the site myself with Nextjs + React + TailwindUI and hosted it with Vercel. (Turns out I love Nextjs). Now I'm iterating on the site, tweaking SEO, adding newsletter / blog features (but I use ConvertKit for sending), and having a blast.

I was worried at first about what I'll write about. But that lasted just a few days. Now I've got a backlog of content I want to share and some other great ideas.
