Slack has an App Directory of approved Slack apps. I went through the process of back-and-forth feedback to get Progress Plum approved. The approval required some additional Slack features to be added that weren't part of the original app design before the app could even be accepted. All in all, this is to help spread awareness and add another SEO channel.
To keep a more coherent design across the product's web pages, the blog received a much-needed redesign. The blog was rewritten using a custom-made Ghost theme using Tailwind CSS and includes some extra javascript libraries for code highlighting and image zooming. Overall, the redesign only uses 8KB of CSS without compress and is incredibly fast at loading.
The design is live at https://blog.progressplum.app.

Progress Plum is leaving closed beta. The app has been very stable during the whole beta process. In addition to several months spent on UX enhancements as well as SEO enhancements, the app is ready to accept anyone interested in the app.

A new marketing page went live that reflects the application’s features instead of a placeholder for SEO.

Collaboration is critical to the success of any product or team. With remote and distributed work on the rise, I wanted to create a bot that could assist in collaboration automatically running standups in Slack.
