Project Brain
Project manager for indie developers
After 3 months of building, I launched Project Brain — a project manager
built specifically for indie developers.
Why I built it:
I was managing 4 side projects simultaneously in Notion, Trello, and plain
text files. Nothing fit the way I think. I needed: one app, multiple projects,
simple structure, mobile-first. So I built it.
The core concept:
Every project gets 4 tabs: Features, Design, Bugs, Notes.
Cards with 3 statuses: Idea → In Progress → Done.
No teams, no sprints, no setup time.
Stack:
React Native + Expo, Firebase, TypeScript.
Built solo, side project evenings and weekends.
First 30 days:
- Live on App Store
- Version 1.1 shipped with sync improvements
- First real users outside my circle
What's next:
- Desktop app (Tauri, in progress)
- Android version
- Widgets and notifications
If you're an indie dev drowning in half-finished Notion pages —

About
Existing tools like Notion and Linear are built for teams. I needed something simple for one developer managing multiple side projects. 4 tabs, cards with statuses, nothing more.
