February 28, 2020 The decision was made, we go PRO

Like many other apps I decided to make a pro version of it. I want to give users possibility to support me by giving them PRO version of Project Costs.

I am still deciding if I will do monthly subscription or one time payment. Probably monthly. There will also be new features that will offer much more to users. I have 1700 active weekly users now and nearly 5000 downloads. Steady growth so far.

July 6, 2019 First 1000 active users

So, this simple tool grows in downloads constantly. By now I have around 2500 downloads and 1000 weekly active users. I have put some ads in there to get some revenue but my app is not something that people will use couple of hours per day so income vas nearly zero.

I decided to force ads for more then 2 projects. That way I got to around 10€/month which is still basically nothing. I need something else in the future if I want to earn anything from it. For now I will just wait a bit more.

September 1, 2018 It took more then a year to share it

I was using my app for quite some time now and couple of my friends and family noticed it. They asked me what app it was and I said I made it for myself only. Name on desktop was "test" at that time :)

So, since they were asking me about it I thought to myself that maybe I could share it with others. After couple of evenings all details were polished and I was ready to publish it on play store. My first public app since I worked on business apps only before. Let's see what happens.

May 25, 2017 I had to do something

Searching through mobile apps did not help since I did not find solution for me. I decided to develop my own. So here it was, my first app as a tool for myself.

It consisted of basic functionalities of adding, editing and removing of projects, expenses and payments.

About

It all started because I wanted a really super easy app to use for tracking project costs. It did not existed so I created my own. After a year I did some upgrade and posted it on play store. Lots of users since then.
