Last week our Product Hunt launch went really well.

Not for the position race, or upvote counts but we've connected with so many amazing people, had conversations, and received great feedback that gave us confidence and insights on what we do next, and which features we are going to work on.

And today we received an email, saying:

"They love you. The Product Hunt community has voted Prolinky #1 SaaS product of the week"

That felt good. 😌

Currently, we have over 130 users, and we are so excited to work on new features and bring more value to them.

So the journey continues. 🌀

if your solution enables users to build a store from just about any link, this is indeed a very interesting concept and I think you should be able to attract thousands upon thousands of customers, relatively easy

I suggest you make it even better, if you somehow empower other platforms to incorporate it into their existing service whatever it might be so long as they generate a link for their users, and that way not only your userbase grows exponentially, but also those platform owners (along yourself) find a new source of revenue

Nothing is relatively easy, especially when it comes to finding a product market fit.
We are prioritizing the features we are developing to put Prolinky into the spotlight for the right people.

We are thinking the same with other platforms, and for start, we are planning to integrate Stripe, both for payments and their payment links, release Prolinky into their marketplace, and let people push Stripe products to their Prolinky stores without leaving the Stripe dashboard.

if -and its an important if- your platform offers, as it claims, to create an online store, on top of any given URL, and has all essential functions for the store owner to operate their store, such as adding products, accepting payment, etc. then it is in my opinion, relatively easy for you to acquire new customers in tens of thousands; if however those essential functional components are yet to be built, then your first priority should be building them; there are number of super interesting one-click store setup startups built on top of Stripe that are similar in concept but operate very differently; if you claim that your solution allows anyone who has any URL on any platform, to launch and run an online store, then you stand as a very strong competitor to other existing solutions, in my opinion, as your approach is conceptually very different and literally your potential target audience are in billions, as these days most if not all people have an account on some platform that has a URL for the user; that is a huge inherent advantage you are capitalising on, which is pretty smart; also in my opinion, you should open up a developer program, allowing other developers to integrate other payment gateways into the solution, expanding the reach of the solution to other markets, and empowering more users to sell online and make money; and it’s all if and only if your solution can build and link an online store for any given URL

Thanks for your reply. I don't know if you understand the concept right, or if I understand you right.

Prolinky lets you create online stores without writing any code. Through a dashboard you can add products and display them in a storefront.

When adding a product, you need to add an outbound link for that product, you can add multiple too. So people can navigate through them to make the purchase on that websites. These links can be Stripe payment links targeting to a Stripe checkout page or can be PayPal payment links, or Amazon affiliate links targeting to Amazon's website and product pages.

We are also planning to add internal payments support as well.

Creating an account is free, you can see for yourself. https://prolinky.co

February 20, 2023 Build an online store, market your products, and drive sales—all in one place.

Create online stores with your links, a digital home for all your Amazon affiliate links, and Stripe payment links, showcase your Gumroad and UI8 products in one store.

If you are into affiliate marketing or using payment links for your products and services, you need a website, or an online store to display them properly. But if you’re just starting out and trying to get your first sales, websites are expensive and complicated to maintain. This is the main reason we’ve built Prolinky, which can replace that expensive, hard-to-manage, and maintain websites.

With Prolinky you can create your store in minutes and start getting paid with any links today, or create a beautiful online store with your affiliate links and products, and send them to your audience.

Prolinky is a fast, safe, and convenient way to create your online store and list your products, classes, or services. Easily add products with multiple outbound links from any provider. No coding skills, no website, or no domains are needed.

We are launching our Beta program this week. Join for free: prolinky.co

Looking good 👏🏾 there is a tone of creators out there using things like linktree that you can target, few questions 🙂

What no-code tools have you used?
How long did you take to plan the project (define features etc.)? How long for actually building it?
How did you come up with this design?

    Good luck on your project!

Thanks Michaël, you are right there is a huge audience out there; creators, authors, designers, and makers, all looking for ways to manage their links and present to their networks.

Even though there are solutions, they mostly lock you in their eco-systems with high commissions, and you can not create online stores and add multiple outbound links to a single product.

Besides the direct payment links created from payment gateways are mostly long and ugly to share with people.

Actually, the first idea was born from this point when Stripe introduced Payment Links in May 2021. I wanted to display all my links together for my design services through an interface, but it was not possible to create a store with them and display them as products properly. There was, and still is, only a checkout page for an individual payment link.

Combining this with the huge problems people doing Amazon affiliate marketing face, it seems like a good idea to move forward. (Amazon does not provide a dashboard to manage affiliate links. Even when you create a link from their interface, you have to write it somewhere, because you can not go back and check it. People are using excel sheets or third-party software for affiliate link management.)

We met with @diegot, my co-founder, here on Indie Hackers from his post on October 2021.

Through email, I've shared the idea, research, and designs that I've made. We exchanged ideas and made a video call to discuss further. Eventually decided to pursue the idea and moved to execution the following month.

Wrote down all the features, and prioritized them by thinking about which ones make the product, and which ones are not necessary for the problem we are aiming to solve. User experience needs to be simple, but also should clearly provide the solution.

We are busy people, with life, full-time jobs, and side projects. So didn't make progress in a hurry to ship a version we are not comfortable with. Instead, we took our time to work without stress, we even meet in Turkey last summer and worked together on some features ☀️ 🍻 👨‍💻

From backend to frontend, Diego is responsible for the development, he worked in detail to make Prolinky a software that we are proud of. So he has more knowledge of the tech stack and tools that have been used. (@diegot)

Thanks Michaël! As Bora mentions it's been more than a year since we discussed Prolinky for the first time.

In terms of the tech stack, the backend is a Django app written in Python, while the frontend is a React Next.JS app written in Typescript. I'm planning to write a post to talk in more detail about the technical aspects of the app :)

We have a roadmap here: prolinky.canny.io

With beta users, hoping to get feedback and see which features we need to prioritize developing.

About

We have been motivated to provide a solution for people who are having difficulty finding solutions to create online stores with their affiliate links. Adding products with multiple outbound links was not available.
