Propora
AI proposal generator for freelancers
Hey Indie Hackers!
I'm Umut, and I just launched Propora — an AI proposal generator built specifically for freelancers.
The problem: Most freelancers are skilled at their work but lose clients at the proposal stage. Writing a compelling, personalized proposal for every job takes time, and most people default to generic copy-paste templates that don't convert.
Propora fixes this. You describe the project, your skills, and your rate — and Propora generates a professional, tailored proposal in seconds. It's not about replacing your voice; it's about helping you put your best pitch forward, fast.
Current state: Live at https://propora-pearl.vercel.app. Free to use. Built on Next.js + AI.
Looking for feedback from other founders and freelancers. What would make a proposal tool genuinely useful for you?

This is a strong wedge because it targets the least optimized but highest leverage moment in freelance workflows—the proposal stage. Most AI writing tools focus on content generation, but proposals are closer to conversion engineering than copywriting. The interesting direction here is not just generation, but feedback loops from winning proposals, because that’s where the actual optimization signal lives rather than in the initial draft quality.
