I've been freelancing for a while, and the part I hate most isn't the work — it's writing the proposal before getting the work.

Every time a new lead comes in, I'd spend 30-60 minutes writing a proposal from scratch. Adjusting the tone, calculating the price, making it sound professional. Half the time the client ghosts you anyway.

So I built ProposalPilot.

You paste the project brief, pick your service type, and get a full proposal in 30 seconds. It matches the language of the brief, sounds human (not like ChatGPT), and you can edit it inline before sending.

Tech stack: Next.js 14, Supabase, Anthropic Claude API, Stripe, Vercel

Current numbers (week 1):

- 10 real signups

- 1 paying customer ($19/month)

- 5 users who generated at least one proposal

- Built and shipped in ~1 week as a side project

The honest part: 5 users signed up and never generated a proposal. That's the thing I'm trying to figure out right now — is it friction in the onboarding? Did they not understand the product? Open to feedback.
