Prospegram

After spending some time trying to find users, I realized that the instagram marketing/tooling niche is very busy. I don't have enough knowledge of it, and I think my product doesn't really addresses a need. I built this in less than 10 days, and learned a lot about chrome extension and how instagram works.

I now have a new idea I'd like to pursue, so I stopped working on this !

I worked on the MVP on the past 2 weeks. It took me around 24 working hours to set everything up starting from scratch. It is now launched on https://prospegram.com/. Here are the current features:

• Show email on Instagram profiles (normally only possible on mobile)
• Add profiles to your list directly from Instagram
• Export your prospect list to a nice excel file, ready to be imported in your favorite CRM

Some feature ideas:

• Template for DMs
• DMs sequencing with reminders

I also posted a few subreddits about it, we'll see if anyone finds this useful!

At a dinner, my friend describes her job to me:

• She's on Instagram on her phone looking for artisans & builders in a specific niche
• When she finds a good profil she lookup the email on the profile (if any) and check in their CRM if that person was already contacted
• If not, she contact the person, and add him to the CRM

It's a long and annoying process that made me want to help her. The idea is not to automate everything (and get banned from insta at the occasion), but just to gradually make things more efficient.

So my vision for the MVP was this: a chrome extension allowing her to do everything from her PC, and that would allow her to get CSVs from insta profiles to directly import in the CRM.
