We wanted to share a story about how a side project can actually change a business. We are 3 friends from Spain—2 developers and 1 online coach. We all have stable, full-time jobs that we love, but we saw a problem that we couldn't ignore.
Our coach friend was struggling to manage his clients. He was drowning in spreadsheets and WhatsApp messages after his own work hours. It was a mess. So, we decided to spend our nights and weekends building a solution specifically for him.
The Challenge: Building a SaaS while keeping our 9-to-5 jobs.
The Result: Even with us working on it part-time, Prowess changed everything for our friend.
In just a few months, he has:
Tripled his client base.
Increased his monthly revenue by providing a more professional service.
Centralized everything so he can focus on his goal: studying for the firefighter exams (oposiciones de bombero) while running a successful business.
We realized that if we could help him scale his business while we all kept our day jobs, we could help thousands of other coaches in the Spanish-speaking market do the same.
We are now opening Prowess to the world. It’s the best way for Spanish-speaking coaches to grow without losing their minds in admin work.
