Excited to announce ProWriter just launched its new sales landing page.
I've spent the last couple of months learnings about landing page design and psychology from sources like ClickFunnels, CopyHackers, and a bunch of articles and tweets.
I came to realize that the homepage we had was most likely deterring leads away rather than capturing them.
So, I started from scratch and created a highly-optimized landing page that focused on 1 main goal... email capture.
The only thing you can do on the page is capture your email address.
And then we take you to a checkout page to sign up for a $1 trial subscription.
I believe this is going to increase our email signups and convert more users to subscribers.

We just landed our first subscriber to ProWriter.co!
Not only is it our first subscriber (His name is Kevin. It's important he's not just a number and he's now a special Kevin in my life) but it's also our largest plan at $199 for a Lifetime subscription!
I was on the phone with my accountant at the time when I saw the Slack notification from Stripe come through that there was a new purchase for $199.
I went silent on the phone and started freaking out with my co-founder over Slack. He said "This is real? I thought this was you!" (My accountant was very confused).
This was a user who signed up to ProWriter 1.5 months ago and must have come back after our large update and felt inspired to subscribe.
We haven't done any announcement of the update yet or any type of marketing really. So this was somebody who organically came back and subscribed.
It feels awesome to break the ice with subscriber #1 (AKA Kevin) and we're now even more excited to actually promote this damn thing!

One of the largest pains we hear from our writing community is the daunting, timely, and daily task of finding credible writing jobs they actually want.
As freelance writers ourselves, we certainly feel this pain too.
Every morning you open 10 browser tabs of different job boards and spend the next few hours scraping through them all to hopefully find 2 to 3 gems you actually care about.
This doesn’t even take into consideration the time it takes to apply to each of these jobs.
Our goal with the freelance writing jobs board was to eliminate the time it takes a typical freelance writer to source great writing opportunities from around the web every day.
This first iteration of the jobs board gives you that time back so you can spend more of it writing and earning money!

After over a year of building I am happy to finally announce ProWriter has officially launched on Product Hunt!

We were in beta for about 2 months, polishing and refining the product based on user feedback, but today marks the official launch of ProWriter into the productverse.
I'm so proud of my team for their dedication and hard work on getting ProWriter live!
ProWriter is still in an active build beta where we're not really promoting the site besides some occasional social posts and keeping our blog active via a Zenpost.com account.
Even though we have not been doing any outbound or inbound marketing, we're seeing an average of 3 organic signups to our beta every day and just reached over 180 signups this week.
These are promising numbers considering we haven't really told anybody about ProWriter yet somehow they are finding us and signing up!
Today we officially finished the MVP of ProWriter. Any Writer can now sign up at ProWriter.co and have their account reviewed and verified. Any Employer can also sign up and start posting job listings.
We had been working on ProWriter for about 6 months now, perfecting the signup, portfolio, job board, and Employer<>Writer interactions.
Through dealing with the pain of hiring writers for other businesses my business partner and I run, we realized that there needed to be a way to organize and verify writer's competencies.
We hired tons of writers but never knew if they were truly qualified to write on an industry or content type just by looking at their application.
So we decided to build a way to certify a writer's writing skills and allow, not only our business, but any employer to come and recruit those writers.
