Pulse Editor
Your private AI assistant for smarter writing.
Hey Indie Hackers,
Reaching a big milestone today for my project PLYIA. I've finalized the first piece of the puzzle : Pulse Editor.
This simple AI text editor was the very first app I built for the suite. More than just a product, it was my technical playground to figure out the core challenges of PLYIA : How do I build a custom installer that sets up a clean Python environment? How do I handle downloading huge AI models on first launch? How do I manage license keys?
Pulse Editor became the blueprint. Every technical solution I found for it is now being reused in the other, more complex apps. It's not the most feature-rich tool, but it's the foundation of the entire project. Feels great to have a solid base to build upon!
