Idea

Codeless automated testing is trending in 2020. So by designing this tool one year ago I happened to be right in my estimations.

Continuous development and RWD

I always look for ways to improve the efficiency of Puppetry and user experience. Thus I release quite often new version with polishing and brand-new features.

Clean code

Application architecture was thoroughly designed. New ideas are coming all the time, but the architecture easily accepts any changes. And it is still getting better with every new refactoring.

Feedback

I created many feedback channels (Github/Slack/Facebook/Gitter/Youtube). Community gave me plenty of priceless suggestions. Most of them are already implemented in Puppetry.

Documentation

I invested a lot of time to document every aspect of the tool. Besides, I created video-tutorials, tips and tricks and other materials to explain what and how users can achieves their goals with Puppetry.

August 1, 2019 210 stars on github and 3.5K downloads

Puppetry now has over 210 stars on github and 3.5K downloads
About 20 releases (including one major one) were published since the launch.
And what is better, I observe my colleges using the tool and get involved more and more in automated testing. Looking forward for new achievements.

About

QA engineers are usually no coders. However with Puppetry they still can create comprehensive functional/E2E automated tests.
