I did it!! I since launch I'll be the first to admit that I've been very lazy with PyHost. I think I got to the point where I'd sunk hours into it and just needed a break but yesterday I got a little notification from stripe saying that my first customer had signed up! I'm over the moon and I know that if I can convert 1 time then I can do it 100 times!
New website redesign coming soon to hopefully drive even more traction and I'm excited for what's coming my way! I've loved building my product and pushing myself through all the tough times but it actually finally really confirmably properly feels real now.
Here's to the next user and MANY more!!

It's been a long long road but it's done! PyHost is out there in the world and available for people to use.
I've worked on it on trains, planes and countless weekend but I'm inbredibly proud of what I've achieved and actually getting my first project of many to this stage.

I'm happy that I've got all the features that I want for the MVP of PyHost so the next logical step is to get some testers involved! It would be an intro call with me just to run through the system and then the tester can use the system to play around with and let me know what they like and don't like.

I realised about 3 weeks ago that there was a pretty major flaw in how I'd built my system so far and felt that there was no choice other than to rebuild that part of the system.
Looking back I see that it may have been possible to hackily work around the problem rather than facing it head on with a rebuild but now I have a system that's stable and SO much better to use from a development point of view. I'm incredibly proud of what the changes I've made and the fact that, despite the extra work it took, I didn't just brush the issue under the rug and ignore it.
At this point I'm feeling more optimistic about the project every day so I guess it's onwards and upwards from here! 😃🚀
