Qimoda

I have long since dreamed about making my own business. Developing solutions to problems that a lot of people face and contributing to the advancement of the digital landscape for the greater good. But it took a while for me to come up with anything whilst working a corporate job.

But recently, it took a bit of self-realisation of my situation to have a bit of clarity of the problems that I face. (It’s hard to think of problems just for the sake of making a solution!)

One of the problems that I came across basically was that at my work (I have been a tech consultant for the last 3 plus years), it’s so hard to organise yourself. Project management tools, Design tools, Code repositories, etc. They all go awry whenever I sit down on my desk. Don’t even get me started on emails.

I did see some products in the market that try to fit the need (Shift, Basecamp, etc.). But they either just rework the browser or end up being too cluttered themselves. I want a solution where, you just mix and match what you want to see in a centralised kind of- dashboard.

That led me to the idea of Qimoda. The long term vision of Qimoda is to provide users like me the opportunity to mix and match all of these systems all around the internet into one central place just so I have oversight across them all.

But having a great product is one thing, you have to justify the price you’d be willing to charge users once you plan to make it an actual business.

So I hatched up a plan:

• Make a digital agency that employs the product to justify the need for it.
• Once a reputation has been established, launch beta of product to test on users.
• Get user feedback and improve product. Rinse and repeat.

Therefore, I’d like to introduce the world to Qimoda! Qimoda is a new-age digital agency that promotes creativity, simplicity and transparency in this world of clutter and mess. Later on, we’d like to provide a beta of the dashboard idea that we’ve been working on to our potential clients.
