Came up with the idea

I asked myself: what is the easy wat to start receiving in-person card payments? Can we use pure HTML (htm5 payment request, apple pay) to handle the payment on the user side, so no hardware is required? How can we redirect the user to the checkout?

This how I designed QRPayments: a simple form to create a QR code that links to the checkout.

  1. The merchant creates the QR Code.
  2. The merchant prints it.
  3. The customer scans it.
  4. The customer pay.
  5. The customer shows the OK screen to the merchant.
  6. The merchant delivers.
