QueryBurst

The SEO tool for EVERYONE

July 11, 2025 Does the world need another SEO tool?

That’s the question I asked myself back in January. And, like most answers in SEO, the answer was a resounding…

…it depends.

There are already some great tools out there. You probably use them. I did too — in fact, I was previously the blog editor at both Ahrefs and Seobility. You might’ve come across my ramblings on technical SEO, content strategy, or why Irn-Bru deserves more links.

And of course, we all have access to Google Search Console — one of the best free SEO tools around.

But even with all that, I kept feeling like something was missing.

The big-name tools have become bloated. Expensive. Sometimes overwhelming for beginners. Search Console, meanwhile, is packed with valuable data — but the UI is clunky, exporting is a chore, and if you don’t know how to build Looker Studio dashboards or tame a spreadsheet, you’re stuck with the basics.

So after a few buckets of coffee and more Jaffa Cakes than I’d care to admit, I decided: yes, the world does have room for another SEO tool — but only the right kind.

And so I built QueryBurst — a modern SEO tool powered directly by your Google Search Console data.

No scraping. No competitor spying. No fluff. Just clean, actionable reports focused on the stuff that actually matters today:
→ Search intent
→ Helpful content signals
→ EEAT
→ Technical audits
→ Page-level keyword clarity
→ Historical trends
→ ...and more

I didn’t want another clone of Ahrefs. I didn’t want to sell access to a giant keyword database. And I definitely didn’t want a “spy on your competitors” tool.

Because let’s be honest — if you can spy on your competitors, they can spy on you. It’s spies all the way down.

So QueryBurst works differently. It’s private by design. All analysis is based on your data. If you delete it, it’s gone. No weird back-end scraping. No keyword scraping arms race. Just insights built around your site and your goals.

Who I Am

I’ve been in SEO since 1997 (yep — before Google).
I ran an ecommerce business.
I’ve been consulting since 2012.
I was blog editor and lead writer at both Ahrefs and Seobility.
And over the years, a lot of the ethical, content-focused techniques I advocated quietly became standard practice.

With QueryBurst, I wanted to bottle up all that experience and build a tool that works the way I do: focused, fast, and fluff-free.

Try It Out

I launched this week. It's free to try, no pressure to upgrade, and early users are already running their first reports.

If you’re an SEO, content lead, indie founder, or just someone who wants more value from Search Console — I’d love for you to give it a spin:

About

Most SEO tools feel like dashboards built for other dashboards. I just wanted something clean, smart, and helpful. So I built QueryBurst.
