QuickBudget
Quickly compare your expenses against suggested guidelines
Soon after creating QuickBudget I submitted it to MadeWithSvelte.com. It takes several weeks to be featured I didn't know when it might happened.
Again, thanks to Fathom Analytics I noticed new visitors coming from MadeWithSvelte and I soon realized my submission had been processed and posted. QuickBudget is still on the homepage and has so far been viewed nearly 300 times!
I was referred to personal finance columnist Rob Carrick as someone who might be interested in writing about QuickBudget, given how relevant a budgeting tool would be during the economic crisis caused by COVID-19.
I reached out to Rob explaining that I had recently launched QuickBudget and that it was also recently mentioned in DenseDiscovery. He let me know he'd look into it and that was all I heard.
A few days later traffic spiked again, and I could see it was coming from the an article at the Globe and Mail. It turned out, Rob decided to mention QuickBudget in an article about a budgeting tool. The article was featured on the homepage of the newspaper, and has sent several hundred visitors to QuickBudget over the past few weeks.
Here's the article, it may be behind a pay wall:

I've been subscribed to DenseDiscovery for several months and previously asked Kai, the author if he was interested in featuring RepoRemover, my other side project. Unfortunately it wasn't a great fit for the audience so he passed on featuring it.
Now that QuickBudget had launched and had a great initial reaction I thought I'd reach out to Kai again to hear his thoughts. He immediately expressed interest and offered to mention QuickBudget in the next issue of DD, which happened to be going out the next day.
Thanks to the newsletter, QuickBudget received over 2000 unique vistors in a couple days and had nearly 3500 page views.

Given the current financial state of the world, I decide to start sharing what I've been working on to gather initial feedback and reactions.
Friends and family helped spread the word and through Twitter and LinkedIn, I received over 3,000 impressions on my posts. Over 100 people visited the site.

I've been using a budget calcuator spreadsheet for a while, and wanted to see if I could make it even easier to use and more accessible by turning it into a web app.
