Today, I want to share a personal story about the launch of Quickg MVP on Product Hunt. Despite all my hard work and dedication, the launch was not as successful as I had hoped. Quickg only received one customer which did not even use it after registering. It became clear that my lack of marketing efforts was a major contributing factor to the failure.

The truth is, I was worried about the general acceptance of Quickg and I didn't want to share it on my personal social media channels. I was afraid of rejection and negative feedback. I focused on coding, which I enjoy, but I neglected the importance of marketing and building a community around Quickg.

This failure was a breaking point for me. I realized that if I wanted Quickg to succeed, I needed to put myself out there and actively promote it.

It was a difficult and humbling experience, but it taught me an important lesson: that building a successful product is not just about coding, it's also about marketing and building a community.

I'm excited to announce the launch of Quickg on Product Hunt! After three years of hard work and dedication, I'm thrilled to finally share an all-in-one platform for content creators with the world. Quickg makes it easy for creators to manage their links, collaborate with others, collect emails, monetize their content, and connect with brands that align with their values and interests.

Building an MVP is no easy task, especially when you're balancing it with the demands of the University. But, over the course of three years, I was able to turn my dream of creating a platform for content creators into a reality. At least I hope so!

During my undergraduate and graduate studies (Computer Engineering and Computer Science), I worked on and off on developing Quickg, an all-in-one platform for content creators. I was determined to make it simple and deliver features that were missed out by a few biggest competitors such as Linktree.

The process was not easy, but I was motivated by my passion for coding which was also my biggest problem. I tend to overengineer solutions and think too much.

As I progressed through my studies, I realized that my biggest competition already included features such as a Store and Monetization options. So, I had to change and adapt my features to make Quickg unique and more valuable to content creators. * Most of it is not in MVP but it's planned! But I can say that Affiliate links are one of the new features instead of a store.

It was a slow process, but it allowed me to build a solid MVP that I knew would be valuable to content creators.

Finally, after three years of hard work and dedication, I was able to launch Quickg. I couldn't be more proud of what I accomplished during my studies and I hope that Quickg will empower more people to pursue their dreams and become successful content creators.

Creating content is a brave and challenging ambition. It takes a lot of courage and determination to put yourself out there and share your ideas and talents with the world. I know this firsthand because I have always wanted to be a content creator myself. But, unfortunately, I lacked the bravery to take that leap and pursue my dreams. Maybe I was worried about acceptance.

That's why I decided to start Quickg, a platform that helps content creators make their lives easier by providing monetization and brand connection opportunities. I wanted to do something that would help others who are passionate about creating content but may be held back by fear or uncertainty when it comes to monetizing their work and connecting with brands. I wanted to merge multiple tools together, and make it simple!

With Quickg, content creators can easily manage their links, collaborate with others, collect emails, monetize their content in multiple ways (paid link, affiliate, support), and connect with brands that align with their values and interests. Whether you're a blogger, vlogger, musician, or even Indie Hacker Quickg is designed to make your content creation process as seamless and stress-free as possible.

I hope that Quickg will empower more people to pursue their dreams and become successful content creators. I may not have the bravery to create content myself, but I can still make a difference by helping others who do, by providing them with tools and resources to monetize their content and connect with brands.
