We actually did it! After countless late nights, gallons of coffee, and maybe a few "lost in translation" meltdowns ourselves, QuickLingo is finally out there in the world – available to download NOW on iOS and Android! Remember those times you're abroad, desperately trying to ask for directions or just order a coffee, and suddenly the Wi-Fi vanishes or your brain just... freezes? That's where our adventure began. As two students from Croatia who live for travel, we built QuickLingo to solve our own biggest headaches, and now it's ready to solve yours too. So, what's the big deal?

• It's YOUR phrasebook, truly: Build custom phrase lists for any language you need, perfectly organized into categories (like "Foodie Adventures" or "Bus Station Survival").

• Works anywhere. Seriously: Offline access. That remote village? That dodgy metro station? Covered. Your custom phrases are always with you.

• Sound like a human, not a robot: Get options for formal, informal and idiomatic translations. No more accidental politeness 🤷‍♂️

• Find it in a flash: Super-fast search means your phrase is ready the instant you need it.

This isn't just an app; it's our passion project, our answer to smoother travels. We've poured everything into making this real. The biggest thanks to everyone who cheered us on! Now, let's make travel seamless, together.

Our current next steps are focusing on marketing and listening to feedback so that we can integrate what users want into our app. For marketing we will mainly focus on Instagram and TikTok and will invest in ads there. Our another approach is also trying Google Ads as we have read it can provide good results.

Current idea for the next bigger update is creating real time communication translations, so that users could have conversations on foreign languages in real time.

We're Mislav and Dominik, two student founders from Croatia who built QuickLingo out of our own travel frustrations. We loved exploring new countries, but constantly found ourselves struggling with simple language barriers like asking for coffee, directions, or just trying to navigate local conversations, especially when offline.
That led to QuickLingo, a smarter, more personal way to handle language on the go. It's a mobile app that lets travelers:
