QuickSOP

AI SOP generator from browser recordings + built-in SaaS sub

March 19, 2026 I built an AI SOP generator in 6 months as a solo founder from Egypt 🇪🇬

Hey IH! 👋

I'm Abdullah, a solo developer from Egypt. I just launched QuickSOP — a tool that records browser actions and auto-generates professional SOPs using AI.

The Problem: Teams spend hours writing SOPs manually. By the time they finish, the process has already changed.

The Solution: Install Chrome Extension → Record any workflow → AI generates a complete SOP with screenshots in seconds.

Bonus — Subscription Tracker: Built-in tool that imports bank statements and auto-detects recurring SaaS payments. Finds duplicate tools, unused seats, and wasted spend.

Key Stats:

- 6 months building (solo, self-funded)

- Next.js + PostgreSQL + Redis + Gemini AI

- 263 SaaS apps in database

- 22 ready-made SOP templates

- Free forever plan

Revenue: $0 (just launched!)

Goal: $1,000 MRR by June 2026

I'd love your feedback — what would make you try it?

SOP generation from real workflows is powerful — especially for teams trying to document processes quickly.

Have you seen more traction from solo founders or growing teams so far?

Thanks Gabriela! Early days still, but the strongest interest so far is from small teams in that chaotic growth phase - hiring fast, onboarding people, and realizing nothing is written down.

Solo founders tend to use it more for client-facing documentation and handoff SOPs.

Curious - are you dealing with this problem yourself? Would love to hear what triggered the question!

I’ve seen this mostly when businesses start growing and suddenly more people are involved in the same processes. Things that were previously just “in someone’s head” suddenly need to be documented so others can follow them.

I think SOPs become important not when a business starts, but when it starts growing and tasks need to be repeated by other people consistently.

It seems like a lot of small teams only realise they need documentation after things start getting messy.

Exactly , that's the gap QuickSOP is built for. Most teams don't think about SOPs until onboarding becomes painful. The goal is to make it so easy that you document as you go, not after things break. Thanks for the insight, Gabriela!

Have you considered selling as is? I’m interested if the price is right.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the interest! I'm focused on growing QuickSOP right now _ just getting started and excited about what's ahead. Not looking to sell at this stage, but appreciate you reaching out! 🙏

        That’s awesome!

Teams waste hours writing SOPs manually - and they're always outdated. I built QuickSOP to solve this: record any browser workflow, and AI generates professional documentation in seconds. I also added a Subscription Trac
