June 15, 2022 The first demo con-call request

Today we get an email from a customer who are seeking for a data tool for data democratization. They plan to migrate their current data infra to Snowflake centric on public cloud. Because there are so many data related requests from non-technical teams, they want to find a tool which can support Snowflake but easy to use for non-technical guys. That is what QuickTable designed for. Will demo how to use QuickTable connect Snowflake and use those data through spreadsheet.

As a data productivity product, QuickTable still has a lot of features need to be added. I hope we can get some real feedback from this first customer.

November 2021 Come out with the idea for Quicktable

Having been working with data for more than 10 years, we found that using data is still a difficult problem for most companies and users. Companies are collecting more data from different data sources with different data formats. Using data needs a team with data analytics skills, SQL skills, and python skills. And current tools either can not do that job(Excel, Google Sheet) well or are very expensive. We want to build a tool to help data users to use data easily and at a low price. That's why we come out the idea.

About

For data analysts, they have to master excel, sql, python to handle data modeling and transformation. It is so complex, so we come up the idea to make a tool for data analyst without knowing program language.
