The shop is very close to our heart, it shows well what QUIQQER can do, the products are awesome and Kay is a great artist. 😍
The test phase was bumpy, but now everything is running smoothly. Whether B2B or B2C, whether mixed VAT rates or different zones. QUIQQER can handle it.

This week QUIQQER has reached a milestone that we have been working towards for a long time. QUIQQER is already used for many SaaS systems. Be it NameRobot, Namefruits or a simple service like Nerdspot. Especially NameRobot GmbH is using the QUIQQER invoicing system successfully.
But this week we make a big step forward. The first e-commerce shop which was implemented with QUIQQER went online. In fact Candyman GMBH went online and starts its new shop.

All products were imported and adapted from an XT Commerce System. Our goal seems to be within reach to create a system that is perfect for a web business. Do you want to run an e-commerce shop? Start a SaaS? QUIQQER makes it possible with just a few steps.
What's next??
In the next weeks and months we will now put our system through its paces and concentrate on the documentation. Everyone should be able to start their own web business without much effort.

The weekend is almost here and in the middle of all the chaos, Hen managed to write a new module.
Many sites are dependent on advertising revenue. Our new module helps to find out if a visitor uses an adblocker or not.

In QUIQQER systems you are able to use simple HTML to determine for which elements an adblock detection should be performed.
By simply adding data-ad-detection="1" you can lock the Element when an adblocker is active.

QUIQQER 1.1 Almighty Appaloosa is even more flexible, easier and more efficient
We have worked through more than 700 isszes, more than 30 new modules can be found in the store.
In the new version you will find the integrated QUIQQER-Store. With it you can create your website even easier than before with many free modules. Also the media area has been updated extensively. For server admins, working in the console is now even easier and clearer than before. Editors will find lots of new controls at QUIQQER 1.1. In terms of security, we have updated our encryption algorithms. In the WYSIWYG editor you will find four new standard toolbars, with different functionality.
We are also currently working on the completion of the first QUIQQER e-commerce system. You will already find some modules for this.

In 2009 the first successful SaaS with QUIQQER was launched. At that time NameRobot was still a small naming startup that was looking for its place.
In the meantime NameRobot has more than 100.000 users and a dozen different services. From name creation to trademark validation, NameRobot covers everything a successful name registration requires.
QUIQQER grew with these requirements.
Since we were dissatisfied with the existing systems, we decided to create our own Enterprise Content Management System.
We want a system which is so flexible that different systems are no problem.
The goals were clear:
- Open Source
- The basic system should be free
- You should be able to build a website quickly and easily in one day
- You should be able to build an e-commerce shop in one day
- You should be able to build an SaaS in under two weeks
- The System should be able to extendable via moduls and plugins
- Event system must be available out of the box
- Permissions must be available out of the box
