March 31, 2021 Beta release with 130 potential users!

Finally, Radar is beta ready. The plan is to get some early users and iterate based on their feedback. I expect to get at least 5% of 130 emails I have collected so far, which is 5 - 6 users, to install and use the app.

I have some big plans for the app, which is not yet implemented. Once that is ready, I will double down on marketing efforts. Let's see how it goes.

Nice - add 1 more user to that list :)

March 10, 2021 Collected 85 emails for early access!

I post a sneak peek of Radar on r/SideProject on February 25th, and it took off. A lot of users upvoted and showed interest. I replied to all the comments the post received. Since then, I have collected 85 emails. Hopefully, I will send beta invites to the users before the end of this week.

Good days ahead 🤞

The concept looks nice but it's not clear from looking at the home page what's possible with the app. Maybe you could add some more information and examples? :)

I whip that up in a few hours 😅 to quickly start collecting emails. Before the launch, I will make sure that there is relevant information on the landing page. The link to the Twitter thread on the landing page must help understand more about the product.

Nice, all the best! I've been searching for websites to find beta users. What places do you recommend?

Reddit is a good platform. You post something interesting in a relevant subreddit. Chances are, you might be able to find more than one subreddit relevant to your niche. Following this, you can get a lot of traction.

If you have some traffic sources like a blog or something, you can try promoting your product there, for example, at the bottom of every blog post. This method is what I'm trying now.

Other than these, I can recommend ProductHunt, Hackernews but I'd leverage those to launch my product.

January 15, 2021 Idea

Daily, like, once every 10 minutes or so, I will open many browser tabs to check various things. Often, when I do it, I forgot about the things I have to do and got distracted.

I needed an application to keep me from not doing it. And also, provide me with the information I want and gets out of the way. I wasn't finding any, so I started building one. 😅
