Monitor your website downtime, ssl validity and performance
It was a wonderful journey, building Raileo to scratch my own itch. But after 2 years of building it, it was time to bid goodbye :)
Raileo opened a lot of areas for me, such as product building, customer support, handling billing and offers, scaling concerns for a monitoring service, and a taste of selling startups. It was a sweet journey altogether.
Raileo wanted to grow out of limited free plan, and we wanted to release our first subscription plan with higher usage quota. After months of implementation, subscription is launched with Raileo 5.0.
Currently offering only one type of subscription, we are hoping to add more plans with super awesome features.
A Wordpress integration for Raileo were requested by couple of customers. So i tried to approach couple of freelancers who would do that. But none of them responded positively.
So we decided to do that in-house. After 2 weeks of development and 1 review from Wordpress team, we launched our Wordpress Plugin which helps you to see your website Pagespeed scores, SSL validity details and downtime details.

There's a first time for everything.
After the positive feedback received from different people about the project, I wanted to expand the scope of the project. My idea was to have a complete ecosystem for website monitoring. So I got excited and added more features.
- Downtime monitoring which monitors your website and alert you if your website goes down.
- SSL expiry monitoring which helps users to notified in advance before the certificate expires.
- Webpage size monitoring which still in BETA helps to understand the size of assets (js, css, images) in the webpage.
So far the journey has been wonderful and I want to make the project super useful for the people.
After understanding my own requirements for the product, I came up with the first version of Raileo which tracks the performance metrics for the website. Product was launched on ProductHunt and received positive feedback from the community.
This was very assuring to keep working on the project.
Pagespeed insights is powered by lighthouse(by Google) which gives scores on various metrics of website performance.
I wanted to track the pagespeed insights of my websites whenever I make some changes to it. Since there's no affordable solution I could find for this, I decided to start my own project with a free plan for people like me.
