RankingKoala

TLDR: I built a tool to supercharge our SEO efforts at my startup Poppylist (www.poppylist.com), and now you can use it too!

Here's the back story...

Over the past year, Poppylist's site traffic has exploded.

The reason? SEO.

SEO has always been a staple in our customer acquisition strategy (2 out of 3 new users find us through organic search). But until last year, our "strategy" was simply to think of topics that we thought potential users would find interesting or useful, and write blog posts covering those topics.

Some were undoubtedly hits, and those drove the majority of the SEO traffic, but most were just random shots in the dark.

In the past year, I've delved deeper into the world of SEO and discovered what truly drives traffic from search engines.

The first step is undoubtedly conducting the research to find keywords you can rank highly on. There is no better tool than Ahrefs for this task.

The problem is, after identifying your chosen keyword, you still need to figure out how to create content that will actually rank for it.

My solution was to create content briefs for our team, outlining the topics to be covered and a unique selling point to help us stand out.

These briefs were incredibly useful, but each one required hours of research on the top-ranking sites for the keyword.

As a typical startup founder wearing too many hats, I knew I needed a more efficient solution. So, I created the tool that is now RankingKoala.

How does it work?

Simply enter the keyword you want to rank for, and RankingKoala will generate a customized content brief for your keyword.

No more spending hours on researching and writing content for a blog post without knowing if it will be a hit.

It's free to try, so please take it for a spin and let me know what you think!
