Real Work From Anywhere
Find a fully location independent job.
50,000 people from all over the world are using my site to find location-independent jobs to live and work anywhere.
I know the number is not much but the feeling that an indie developer building a tool to reach this amount of people is overwhelming.
My strategy so far is to build this site in public on Reddit, Twitter, and Indiehackers. And programmatic SEO. This site has around 2500 pages right now (programmatically generated).
Thank you everyone for being kind and supportive of me along the journey. You guys are the best.
This is my first popular feature. The YouTuber shares the site with a lot of positive comments. Check it out here:

Never imagined something like this will happen. I am the happiest man right now.
In the first 12 hours, it has brought 500 unique visitors to my site.

Nice! How did you figure out the traffic was coming from that video? Did they reach out to you for a promotion ahead of time?

No, I checked where the traffic is coming from through my analytics. And found out most of the traffic is from Youtube, so went to youtube, filter by one hour, and search for my niche related queries and there was it.

Exactly after building this project for 2 months, I found my first sponsor for RealWorkFromAnywhere.
During this period the site has hit 41k unique visitors and 104k pageviews.
I tried to reach out few potential sponsors (Businesses), but nothing worked out as I expected. So, I just put my email on top of the site for anyone interested to reach out to advertise their product. No one emailed me either.
I had a tweet that went a little viral on Twitter recently. And a course author engaged with that tweet. He had written a course for remote workers, so I reached out to him to have his course advertised on my site. After discussing a bit about the site, stats, and payment, he agreed to buy the slot for $129. My asking price was actually $199, but he negotiated and we settled for $129.
To be honest, I don't want to do B2C, I prefer to do B2B, but somehow this partnership is kind of B2C, but for the first sponsor, it's not bad. And a nice way for me to have the project sustainable. I think there will be a lot to learn about doing sponsorship, so this will definitely help me do that and negotiate offers better. (I'll document my experience doing B2C soon)
If you have any questions/feedback, please let me know below. I am happy to learn from you. Thank you.

Saw this on Reddit, exactly what I've been looking for. Trying to move country at the moment but time zone issues are real!

How did you achieve 104k page views in just 2 months?

had it go viral on HN, and Reddit(a few times).

How do you integrate sponsors into your site? Banners, dedicated page/post?
-
2
a dedicated slot on the home page.

In less than 2 months, RealWorkFromAnywhere has hit 100k pageviews.
Most of the traffic is from socials. And I am working on SEO too.
I don't know how this metric matters, but having that much people see my site is a heartwarming feeling. It gives me the motivation to work on this project further.

After building the project for more than one month now, this project actually made some real money. A recruiter from Canada bought the first job listing for $49. What a surreal feeling. Still the hiring page is very basic version. It didn't have a proper way to store company logos. So, there is more to do. Now it's the right time to do because people out there are willing to pay for it.

Congrats! Shows just having a link for people to pay is just as important as building the product.

The first sale always feels like a million bucks right?! :)
Well done for both launching and landing your first customer so quickly.

About
I am tired of endlessly scrolling through remote jobs that hire only within certain countries. So, I wanted to create a site for Digital nomads to find fully location independent jobs.
