Custom Sportswear Manufacturer & Supplier — Factory-Direct
When you're building a clothing brand, one of the hardest decisions isn't always the design — it's finding a manufacturer who can actually turn the design into a repeatable product.
I've been building RebornWear, a Sialkot, Pakistan-based apparel manufacturing business focused on custom sportswear and streetwear for teams, startups, retailers, and growing clothing brands.
The interesting part has been learning that manufacturing is much more than finding someone who can sew a garment.
What we had to solve
A clothing brand can have a great idea and still run into problems with:
Minimum order quantities
Fabric and GSM selection
Sizing and grading
Color consistency
Artwork preparation
Embroidery and printing
Samples that don't match bulk production
Communication between designer and factory
Packaging and private labeling
Production timelines
We decided to build our process around solving those problems rather than simply selling generic garments.
For example, our current process starts with the customer's specifications, followed by artwork and a production sample before the bulk order moves forward.
We manufacture products including custom sports uniforms, basketball jerseys, baseball uniforms, soccer kits, bowling shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, joggers and other apparel.
The startup side of manufacturing is especially interesting
One thing I've noticed is that smaller brands don't necessarily need a huge factory.
They need a manufacturer that is willing to work with them while they're still figuring out:
Which products will sell
What fabric weight feels right
Which fit works for their audience
How much inventory they should actually order
Whether they should use embroidery, screen printing or sublimation
How their branding should appear on the finished product
That's why we're developing RebornWear around factory-direct manufacturing and flexible customization, rather than treating every customer like a large established retailer.
Our streetwear manufacturing work is particularly focused on startups and growing brands that want control over the fabric, fit and branding rather than buying an off-the-shelf blank and adding a logo afterward.

One lesson I'd give another founder
Don't choose a manufacturer purely because their quoted price is the lowest.
A slightly cheaper garment that arrives late, has inconsistent sizing, or requires a second production run can become much more expensive.
I'd evaluate a manufacturer on:
Sample quality → communication → consistency → customization → production capacity → lead time → price.
Price matters, but it shouldn't be the first and only variable.
What we're building next
We're also working on making the customization process more digital.
Instead of sending designs back and forth through email, we're experimenting with an online apparel configurator where a customer can customize things such as:
Colors
Team names
Player names
Numbers
Logos
Garment panels
Different uniform templates
The goal is to eventually make the journey:
Idea → customize → visual proof → sample → production
much simpler.
That's probably the most interesting part of building a manufacturing company today: combining traditional factory production with software and better digital workflows.
If you're building a clothing brand or have experience sourcing apparel internationally, I'd be interested in hearing what caused the biggest problems for you — MOQ, samples, quality control, communication, pricing, or shipping?
