If you want a polished product demo on Mac, you have tools like CleanShot or ScreenStudio that make you look like a pro in seconds. On Windows? You either get a raw, jittery capture or you spend 4 hours in Premiere Pro doing manual zooms.

That’s why I’m building RecFast. 🐯

I wanted to bridge the "Aesthetic Gap" between Windows and Mac. I’m currently in the middle of an 8-day sprint to turn this vision into a high-end reality.

The Genesis: It started with a simple frustration: my own product demos looked "cheap." I realized it wasn't the product; it was the capture. Windows cursors are shaky, the transitions are sharp, and the lack of automated focus makes it hard for viewers to follow the action.

The Technical Obsession: Instead of building just another recorder, I focused on the "Automated Production" engine:

• 60 FPS Rendering: Most recorders feel sluggish. RecFast renders at a silky 60 FPS for that "premium" feel.

• Surgical Cursor Smoothing: No more jittery Windows mouse movements.

• Auto-Editing: The engine detects clicks and applies cinematic zooms in real-time.

Building in Public (The Day 1 Wins): I just finished the first 24 hours of my sprint, and the traction is beyond what I expected:

• Hit Rank #2 on RankinPublic this week.

• Went from DR 0 to DR 8 in a single day thanks to some early high-quality backlinks.

• Decided to skip the "Microsoft Tax" ($500/year for EV certificates) to invest that money directly back into product performance.
