Recordar Palabras
Private spaced repetition for your own vocabulary
I started this zero-cost growth push with 27 existing accounts. The last 90 days showed the real problem: 26 sign-ups, but only 3 people saved a first word and 2 completed a first practice. Registration was not useful acquisition.
So the first milestone is now: save one real word, complete the first review, and see when it comes back.
This week I shipped a bilingual web and iPhone experience, definitions that follow the active language, a direct first-word path, product-only sharing that never exposes private vocabulary, twelve practical guides, and the SEO/distribution groundwork. No ads, paid votes, scraped lists, or mass DMs.
I will compare weekly cohorts, but if a cohort has fewer than 10 new sign-ups I will call the result inconclusive rather than inventing a success story.
For people who collect vocabulary while reading: where does your current workflow break—capturing the word, writing a useful definition, or returning to review it?
About
Recordar Palabras exists to make personal vocabulary review simpler: save words you actually encounter, then practice each one when it is due without building a complex flashcard system.
